Our Caprera apartment is located in a residential area very close to Vernazzola and Boccadasse, picturesque fishing villages of Genoa where you can go to the beach, enjoy some excellent seafood or a romantic dinner. In addition to its proximity to the sea, it is also well connected thanks to the means of transport that will take you easily to the city center. The apartment is large, bright and quiet, composed of a living area with a sofa and a dining table, a spacious double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Genoa, well-known port city and capital of Liguria region, is historically known for its important role in maritime trade over the past centuries. Known as one of the most extensive medieval historical centers in Europe, the heart of Genoa is a maze of alleys that unexpectedly open up into small squares, often related, like the churches overlooking them, to important noble families. The spirit of Genoa lies in the alleys, where different smells, tastes, languages and cultures perfectly blend in. In the historical center is the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, in Romanesque style with a black and white striped façade and frescoed interiors. Narrow streets lead to monumental squares such as the Piazza de Ferrari, with its characteristic bronze fountain, and the Carlo Felice opera house. The Genoa aquarium, the largest in Europe, is unmissable and iconic. The exhibition itinerary shows more than 70 environments and about 12,000 specimens of 600 species, coming from all the seas of the world.
