Sitting on beautiful acreage, this secluded retreat will be just the place to get away from it all while still being a mere three miles from the heart of Orick. When you want to get outside, you are minutes from Redwood National and State Parks home of the tallest, among the most massive and oldest trees in the world. And then, make your way to Fern Canyon, the site of primeval ferns, and the moody beaches of Northern California. The gorgeous deck is a great place to hang out with your family or friends; it has a small outdoor dining area and a gas grill.
Inside, the open floor plan is cozy and offers a great atmosphere for relaxation. When it's time to rest, don't hesitate to snuggle up on the sofa, in front of the large flatscreen Smart TV. You can choose to watch something on the cable, stream your favorite series, or choose a DVD from the small selection available. The kitchen is fully equipped and boasts everything the chef of the group could need to prepare savory meals and recipes. There's even a dishwasher that will take care of the dishes after lunch.

There are exterior cameras monitoring the entry area of Elk Meadow.
We advise people to travel with hotspots if required for medical, work, or school. We do have really good WiFi at Elk Meadow, but this is a rural area and service can experience interruptions at unpredictable times.
Food and Dining: The wildlife is fantastic because Elk Meadow Cabins is remote. We highly recommend that you bring your own groceries or make reservations at nearby sit-down restaurants. The Orick town market and Shoreline Deli are our nearest convenience stores.
Parking notes: There is room for two vehicles in front of the unit.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
