Built on the city's original garrison grounds dating from 1793, Fort York is a high-density planned community. Young professionals inhabit its lofts, townhouses and sleek condo towers with ground-floor retail and cafes. It is also home to the Fort York National Historic Site, scene of the 1813 Battle of York, which has restored buildings, immersive exhibits and military-style Guard demonstrations in the summer.
Within walking distance of many major attractions and public transportation (TTC), located steps from the building runs in all directions. Streetcars/buses run frequently and City Bixi bike rentals are available.
Unfortunately, we can’t offer a bag drop-off. For those arriving early or having a late flight, you can use bagbnb site to find options to drop off your bag for a fee.
