Come summertime, Whistler's famous Valley Trail is right across the road, the Chateau Whistler Golf Course is a quarter of a mile away, and Lost Lake Park is within walking distance. You'll also find the center of Whistler Village, with its hundreds of shops and restaurants, less than a mile west.
