Nestled on the forested slopes of Coliseum Mountain this mountain home sleeps 8 and is a perfect base for exploring our wonderful region. Nordegg is the gateway community to the Bighorn Backcountry, the most unspoiled mountain wilderness in Alberta. Hike the Kootenay Plains, climb Coliseum Mountain, explore the ghost town of old Nordegg and the Brazeau Collieries National Historic Site and drive the David Thompson Highway to Banff National Park – considered by many to be the world’s most scenic drive. The Columbia Icefields in Jasper National Park are close enough for a day trip.
Situated on a private and forested 2.5 acres, with walking trails starting in the back yard. Enjoy the spacious deck and the abundant wildlife that is regularly spotted as you enjoy your morning coffee. Deer, elk, moose, fox, woodpeckers, abundant mountain birds and wildflowers can be enjoyed in this natural retreat.
