Bella's Blue House is one of the oldest houses in Pouch Cove. It was totally renovated in 2017, so it has all the modern conveniences, but keeps the feel of an old fishing residence. The backyard leads to the ocean. The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is furnished with rustic furniture made from reclaimed wood and decorated with original art and Newfoundland photographs. It is a few minutes walk from the East Coast Trail.
There are three bedrooms in the house, two with queen beds and one with twin beds. There are two bathrooms, one with a bathtub/shower and the other a shower. The second bath shares with the washer and dryer which are available for your use.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. We supply you with basic spices and ingredients such as butter, cooking oil, coffee and tea. There are plenty of plates, cutlery, pots and pans.
An upstairs sitting room is set up to enjoy the ocean view while watching the cable TV or listening to music. There is Wi-Fi and a telephone with free long distance for Canada and the US.
The house is a perfect base for several days of hiking on our spectacular trails or for sightseeing in the Northeast Avalon. A 10 minute walk from the house gets you to the East Coast Trail. Pouch Cove is just 20 minutes' drive from the Stavanger Drive shopping area on the north side of St. John’s. Another 10 minutes takes you to downtown St. John’s with its many restaurants and great entertainment.
