This cabin is located on our amazing home property and provides self-contained and cozy accommodations. A completely secluded and private deck on the back is completely treed and features your OWN hot tub for your exclusive use. The back deck is completely private - surrounded by the woods and wildlife.
The cabin opens onto unlimited hiking trails and biking trails as well. Snowshoeing and exploring in winter is first class, right from your front door.
You will also enjoy a dedicated parking stall for your use, right outside your door for easy unloading.
We have snowshoes for you included in your nightly rate in the winter.
The property is located in the most ideal location in Vernon, period. 12 minutes to the ski hill where you can enjoy world-class riding, skiing downhill or cross-country, hiking, tours, snowshoeing,summer or winter, Silver Star has something for everyone!...BUT don't forget you are also only 8 minutes to an awesome grocery store, and 10 minutes to town, which is super convenient! This is our home property where we live, so it's also perfect for if you forgot something, we can run it up to you.

Our neighbourhood is commonly referred to by friends, as "living in a Provincial Park". Large parcels of land in the area means that there are no neighbours watching every move!! The properties around here are heavily wooded and FULL of trails (used by wildlife AND humans).
No public transport here.
This is a non-smoking property.
In winter, we get LOTS of snow and, although the driveways are plowed, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is a great idea! We are right off the main highway means safe travel right to our door. We are literally right on the road to Silver Star Resort - 12 minutes from the cabin door!! There are also hiking and snow-shoeing trails from the door of the cabin!
Please note that the loft is not a full-height room, and there is an access ladder and trap door. It is a large space, but kids taller than 5'4" may have trouble standing up straight. This loft is NOT SUITABLE for young kids (under 5) the ladder is too steep.
Note: there is no door on the loft area, as you can see in the photos. This cabin is intended for a couple or couples with children. It is not suitable for 3 or more adults.
