This beautiful Cape Cod style Beach House is nestled on a quite laneway in Crystal Beach Ontario and is a short 10 minute walk from the beach, restaurants, shops and pubs. Bay Beach has beautiful white powder sand and clear shallow warm water.
I personally greet my guests upon arrival between 4PM and 9 PM on the scheduled check-in date. (Please confirm an ETA at time of booking. If you require a different check-in time, outside of the designated check-in window, please let me know with your initial inquiry). Your stay includes use of the main floor laundry, kitchen and cozy living/dining area with cathedral ceilings and beautiful gas fireplace. Loft space on the 2nd floor has 2 Queen beds in the same room for up to 4 Guests. Premium mattresses and linens and a bright ensuite bath with tub/shower combination, fresh towels, body wash and shampoo, small desk and tea centre complete the Loft soace
This gorgeous sun-filled property is surrounded by many owner occupied homes and mature trees so I am looking for mature quiet adult Guests (40+) with children (12+). Enjoy lunch under the 100 year old birch tree or simply relax in the hammock in the beautifully landscaped yard and extend your day outdoors into the evening with the beautiful landscape lighting and bright stars.
After a long day at the beach, and especially on cool nights, sit back and relax in front of the beautiful gas fireplace with a flick of a switch. The open concept kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need to cook up a great meal or fire up the gas grill in the yard. Guests will have access to the washer and dryer the compact laundry room on the main floor.
The large 2nd storey Loft/Bedroom is very spacious and equipped with a small computer/make-up desk, TV with DVD player and lots of movies, Prime Video, Nespresso Machine, Japanese Kettle with herbal tees for your convenience plus a bright immaculate Ensuite Bathroom with Tub/Shower combination. When I travel, a great nights sleep is very important to me so both Queen beds have premium mattresses, linens and pillows.
This gem of a property is fully Licensed by the Town of Fort Erie ensuring fire safety and compliance with Town Building Codes and By-laws so you will have peace of mind during your stay knowing that you are being accommodated in a safe clean home.
Being a newer property in the beach, and builder owned, there is no mould or mildew issues or odours that are often common with older cottages in the beach. The house is equipped with forced air Air Conditioning.
Crystal Beach is bustling with activity in the summer. The property is within a short walking distance to everything, but located just outside of the hustle and bustle and noise associated with the high tourist traffic on the main strip, so it is generally quite and private, and perfect for mature adults who desire a good nights rest and great spot to get away from it all.
The Crystal Beach main entrance has undergone a 4 million dollar renovation and includes new change rooms, showers and washrooms. New restaurants have opened along the strip and more are under construction. Try San Vitos or Rizzo’s House of Parm for authentic Italian, Casa Hugo for Mexican Tapas, Shaka farm to table, Comet Subs, Take-out Greek on Derby Road or enjoy an Espresso or Latte or breakfast sandwich at the Crystal Ball Cafe. The Crystal Chandelier or the South Coast Eatery are always great options for great food in a casual atmosphere and both offer live entertainment. Derby Road is also experiencing a transformation and new businesses have opened including English Head homemade meat pie shop, Comet Subs, The Market with all the essentials, Basaltos for cured Meats and Cheese and Utopia Lounge for a cocktail, gourmet coffees or a delicious Hot Chocolate and Planks for custom crafts and clothing, or some of the Crystal Beach gift shops scattered throughout the beach.
Historical Ridgeway is only 2.5 km away to explore where you will find many restaurants including 335 on the Ridge on Ridge Road and the Brimstone Micro Brewery (Converted Church) a French Bistro, Anchored for your seafood supply store and antique shops and Saturday Market. There are many gift and clothing stores as well some something for everyone.
If touring around is your thing or if you want to make a bet at the Casino, you are only 30 minutes from Niagara Falls . Try out one of the 100s of Niagara Winery Tours or take in a round of golf in Niagara or Fort Erie. Downtown Buffalo is 25 minutes away and the Buffalo Ski Center is approximately an hour drive away.
Up to 4 guests can be accommodated but this a perfect spot for 2 guests. A 3rd or 4th Guest may be considered upon request. Please note that the lower level of the house is a separate self contained duplex unit with its own entrance directly from the outside, has no direct access to my home and is occupied full time. The yard is organised so that my Guests will have their own private area separate from that of the other property owner.
All guests must agree to the Town's Short Term Rental By-laws that include the stipulation that guests of guests must vacate the property by 11pm daily and no more than 4 guests in total are allowed on the property at any time. Failure to comply will result in a fine from the Town of $1500.00. All Guests are required to provide ID at check-in and to follow the House Rules and Town Rules as posted in the house.
The price per night is inclusive of all utilities, gas barbecue including fuel, free parking for one vehicle and use of the laundry room (detergent not included). Free beach passes are included with this property saving each Guest $10 each per day on weekends and $5 for each Guest per day weekly. This offer can save Guests hundreds of dollars for extended stays and us not included with all properties in the beach.
Please be advised that Crystal Beach is very popular from May until October so requests will be accepted on a first come first serve basis and I cannot hold bookings without full payment upfront. There is No Smoking/Vaping/Marijuana or cleaning of vaping apparatus on the property or inside the house ;no exceptions. No pets of any kind allowed.
