It is located in a historic house, which is more than 100 years old, on whose facade you can admire one of the typical frescoes that characterize the ancient residences of the "Biois Valley", that is colled "Valley with Saints at the windows".
The location is perfect, close to the ski lifts of the San Pellegrino Ski Area and just 1 km far from the town center.
THE SPACES:
The apartment is on 2 levels. On the second floor there is a wide living room with cooking corner equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, large fridge with freezer; dining area, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. From this floor we have access to the two terraces that overlook on two sides of the house. The view you can enjoy is amazing, you can admire the most beautiful Dolomite peaks that surround Falcade while having breakfast on the terrace at the dawn of a hot summer day, before getting equipped with boots and trekking poles and climb higher.
Now taking the staircase that goes up to the second top floor, we first find a small relax livingroom, then a bedroom with 2 single beds and finally a bathroom with bathtub.
On the ground floor of the house, at the entrance on the right, there is a deposit where in winter you can leave your skis and boots and in summer your mountain bikes.
THE POSITION:
Casa Sottsass is located just 5 minutes walk from the departure of the ski lifts of the San Pellegrino Ski Area, 400 meters. You can then reach in a jiffy the wonderful and perfectly snow-covered ski slopes, take the new Molino-Le Buse cable car and spend an unforgettable day of snow and fun. If you don't own the equipment, you can rent it to the shop at the start of the lift or in the several sporting goods shops in the valley.
Absolutely don't miss to stop in the characteristic mountain huts on the ski slopes, where you can enjoy typical and delicious dishes.
In the town center there is an ice skating rink and a cross-country ski trak, beloved winter sports that will make you to spend a different day different.
In summer the mountain is populated with flocks and shepherds, which surround the numerous huts that can be reached on foot both from the village and from directly at high altitude. In these jewels of the Dolomites you can taste and buy zero km products such as cheeses and cured meats, as well as taste a good dish of polenta, mushrooms and pastim (sausages).
Don't forget the several mountain huts that you can find in the high mountains, set among the rosy Dolomite rocks.
