Kitchen overlooks a sunken family room with vaulted ceiling, tongue n groove pine, TV area, reading/games corner, wood-burning stove, and expansive ceiling-to-floor wall of windows. A screened in sunporch is also located on this level.
Property includes a private guest cabin with a queen-over-queen bunk bed, and an outdoor shower with hot running water where you can luxuriate under the stars. Please note, bed linens are not provided but are available upon request.
120 ft waterfront lot is dotted with rugged pink granite outcroppings and well treed with towering pine, oak and birch. Cool your toes off at the shallow NATURAL shoreline beach or dip and doze off the dock. Loads of wildlife: loons, herons, beaver, otter, fox, porcupine, deer, turtles, myriad feisty hummingbirds and more. Two kayaks are available for some of the best paddling on the Kawarthas! Easy stroll to Burleigh Falls, and Christie Bentham wetland trail.
Hummingbird Shore is a paradise location for noodling and fishing in summer, skating, cross-country skiing & snowmobiling in winter. Just 15 minutes from Lakefield College, 20 minutes to Trent University, 30 minutes to Peterborough proper, and 90 mins from Toronto.

When booking please advise if other friends or family are likely to come to the property outside of the numbers originally indicated. Remember, EIGHT is the maximum. This includes daytime as well as overnight guests. Hummingbird Shore is not a party central destination. Large and loud gatherings are not a fit.
