The Savary Island Resort is an off-grid property just steps from some of the most spectacular views and swimming beaches on Savary Island.
Nestle friends and family in between the lush forests and white sand beaches of wildly beautiful Savary Island. Our property is designed to cocoon guests in nature with their loved ones. Communal spaces have been created especially to gather people both inside and outside. Gather around and nourish one self whilst surrounded by friends and family.
The Savary Island Resort can sleep up to 22 people. There are two king size upstairs suites and 4 bunk house suites.
Upstairs in the Main Lodge are the King size suites - a couple’s intimate getaway dream come true. Each suite features a king size bed, a two person, 6 ft soaker tub overlooking the forest with ocean glimpses, flat screen TV, propane fireplace, mini kitchen with granite countertops and your own private deck. All bedding, towels, and robes will be supplied.
The bunkhouse features four bunkrooms, each with cozy, comfortable beds. Each room consists of a queen bed plus two twin bunk beds. All private bunkrooms have shared toilets and sinks. Pillows and duvets are provided. You just need to bring your pillow cases, sheets & sleeping bags or duvets covers. Don’t forget your towels!
There are also private indoor shower rooms and bathrooms. Two showers and a bathroom for the ladies and two showers and bathroom for the gents conveniently located.
We've recently added a wood burning sauna and a cold plunge pool for some much needed spa wilderness therapy. Capacity is 8 people.
The lower floor of the main lodge is where all the action happens. There is a large living area with comfortable foam covered benches for curling up and reading, a place for just hanging out.
The main lodge is also a place for the “chef” in you…a place for you to create that culinary masterpiece….where you can come in and cook for one or for all on our two 4 burner gas stoves, two large fridges, commercial sink, all the pots, pans and dishes you could need. All you have to bring is your own food and condiments.
There is a one time pet fee of $90. There is no size limit…we welcome all canine critters. However, we do limit our accommodations to 3 dogs.
There are 2 paddleboards available for your use!
Savary island is an off grid island, meaning the the resort runs off solar power and a diesel generator.
Important notes ***** Do not bring anything electrical that has a heat element - no hair dryers, straighteners, waffle makers or toaster. The heat elements are too hard on the power system. Because there is no garbage disposal on island, savary island resort asks that you take off all of your garbage with you. The savary island resort is a Leave No Trace kind of place.
Remember to also pack top sheets, bottom sheet and pillow cases for the bunk houses. Please remember to bring your towels.

Come say hi at the mermaid cafe! We offer homemade pizza, charcuterie and cheese boards, caprese salad, homemade icecream, as well as beer, cider, and a tequila cocktail.
Getting Here - Transportation
Take a water taxi using either the Lund Water taxi or the Savary Island Ferry and barge. You can then hire a land taxi from the wharf to the resort and they will bring all of your luggage, bikes and persons!
Toilet paper only down the toilets please. Do not put coffee grinds or ANY food waste down drains. Use the compost bins provided. There is green bin that is used for the compost when the small compost bins inside are full.
