Summary: Every bit as lovely as described, maybe even more so. This was the perfect location for us as we visited family in Salem. We were there during a record-breaking heat wave (multiple days over 100 F.). Our subterranean Cozy Cellar retreat was plenty cool, even without supplemental AC. The hostess's lovely fenced-in backyard with veggie and flower beds were a nice plus. A perfect, safe place to host our young grandkids (ages 4, 2, and 5 months) for a picnic and ice cream. We visit Salem regularly and we're hoping to book the Cozy Cellar again.
