Welcome to the Dancing Bees Cottage, our quaint seaside cabin in the picturesque village of Sooke, just 35 minutes outside of Victoria, B.C.
This beautifully designed cottage welcomes you with the most amazing aroma of cedarwood and cozy decor to give you an immediate sense of relaxation. A 3-minute walk to the secluded "Ella Beach" will show you the unspoiled, natural beauties of Vancouver Island firsthand. The beach is formed of pebbles that have been rounded by the ocean wave in different colors and shapes, they heat up beautifully in the sun and making this a dream location for open-water swimmers.
The "Ella Road Park" is also right outside your door if you feel like going for a rejuvenating morning walk in the forest. It's nature on your doorstep, literally!
After a day of exploring the spectacular Canadian West Coast, relax on your private deck in a quiet garden setting with views of the meadows, majestic pine trees, and the Olympic Mountains. If you are an artist, be ready to get inspired! The deck is also great for stargazing and basking in the silence of nature at night.
Your well-behaved fur baby is welcome to run freely in the meadow right in front of your deck fetching balls or rabbits! Please check in your pet at the time of reservation to ensure we are ready to welcome him/her.
ACCOMMODATION TYPE:
This is the ultimate social distancing getaway for a couple. Our charming cottage offers a Japanese-style cotton mattress in the loft (accessible through the ladder) and a sofa bed on the main floor, a full bath, a wood-burning stove, and a rustic kitchenette allowing comfortable accommodation for 2 guests. Well-behaved dogs are welcome (ONLY 1 DOG ALLOWED PER STAY - PET FEE IS $50 PER NIGHT - PLEASE CHECK-IN YOUR PET AT THE TIME OF RESERVATION)
ABOUT THE KITCHENETTE:
The cottage kitchenette is meant for small and simple meal preparation and is not equipped for full-fetch cooking. With a BBQ on the deck, a hot plate, a microwave, basic pots, pans, and dishware, you can make delicious and quick meals.
ABOUT THE SHOWER:
The hot water tank in the cottage is small and intended for quick showers.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT:
The cottage offers a Japanese-style cotton mattress in the loft accessible through the ladder and a sofa bed on the main floor.
