Fernie House is located at the base of Fernie Alpine Ski Resort beside the ski out trail. You can ski to the door after a day of powder at Fernie Alpine Resort. It is a short, flat walk to the Elk Chair (about 3 minutes). This is a special place of scenic beauty that offers outdoor enthusiasts the ultimate in year round 'mountain' accommodation. Loaded with special touches that offer you more than just a place to stay. It is sure to soothe your soul after an adventurous day in the Rocky Mountains.
The Fernie House living room and loft windows look at the amazing Lizard Range mountains. The kitchen, living room, laundry and one bathroom are on the main level. Upstairs are three bedrooms, a large loft and 42' flat screen TV with Apple TV, cable, and Netflix. The master bedroom has a large closet with views to the rear of the house looking to the hot tub and forest. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and and two twin beds. The third bedroom has a queen sized bed with a balcony looking up to the Lizard Range. Late afternoon sun makes it a perfect balcony to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. There is a u-shaped driveway for easy access and lots of parking.
The garage is set up as a gear room and houses a boot heater for 12 pairs of boots. There are racks for skis and boards, poles and gear. The garage is heated and has two couches --great for putting on toasty boots while getting ready to head out or gathering at the end of the ski day for mountain adventure stories.
IMPORTANT:This is a family run business offering a beautiful home to our patrons. Party hounds and bachelor groups need not apply. We also have a noise curfew in place after midnight. If you are looking for a party house, please apply elsewhere.
