Positive: The Gite is in an excellent location, though parking is a bit of a problem. The directions to the Gite were not very clear either, especially as our satnav was not working properly, and also there are two properties in the road numbered 62. This Gite is the first one, before the junction where the road splits, and before the statue of the virgin Mary. The Gite is very well equipped, there is a washing machine and a dishwasher, no tumble dryer put there is a public one available at the Carrefour in St. Vaast-le-Hougue.

Negative: We did not like having to walk through our adult son's bedroom to go downstairs to use the only bathroom in the Gite. This could be a really lovely place to stay if some work could be done to separate the bedrooms, plus there are some damp patches that need to be addressed.

Summary: Disappointing, but could be really lovely once some work was done to it. Excellent location though.
