Positive: David at the front desk was great. The pool area is very nice BUT closed at 6:00. Great view of Etna and the valley.

Negative: It would’ve been nice to relax at the pool after a long day, but it is closed at 6:00. The apartment/cottage was lacking in so many ways I hardly know where to start. First, I guess would be to mention how dirty and ill equipped it was upon arrival. No garbage bags, dish towels, bottle opener, sponge or clean cloth for dishes, and only one large pot worked with the induction stove. We swept the floors twice before house cleaning could by arranged, after they left, the pile we swept was still there. We had to wear sandals the whole time. The wardrobe had such a foul smell we couldn’t use it so we had to use our suitcases for 6 nights. Everything is tired and worn, the shower tiles/grout in the main bathroom were stained black, the bedroom doors to the patio wouldn’t open so the smell of the space couldn’t be aired out, the many stairs to the pool area were covered in rocks and debris even after we asked they be swept. In general not a nice experience.
