Summary: The guesthouse is an old wooden building located 100 meter from the main building in a very quiet corner of the village. There is a free public parking right next to it. The room we had in the guesthouse was quite small and with low ceiling. The persons taller than 1m90 might touch the ceiling. The amenities were quite basic. There was no coffee machine in the room, but one coffee machine was available in the common room on the guesthouse. Unfortunately the restaurant of the guesthouse was closed during our stay (end of September) so we had to go to the main building for the breakfast. The main building has a bar with a very nice terrasse facing the mountains. We had a dinner at the restaurant of the main building and it was an amazing 3 course meal, really worth the price of 55 CHF for the vegetarian option. The hotel has a good location for hiking in the region, for the access to mount Pilatus by the cogwheel train, and to Lucern. The staff was amazing.
