Built in 2019, this cabin is in a lakefront community with 40 other units all with private yards and driveways. The cabin backs onto the forest, and you can sit in front of the majestic trees and enjoy winter fires in the stone art fire-pit or on your covered patio peacefully surrounded by nature. There is a clubhouse with a pool table, hot tub, bocci ball, horseshoes and a sports court for pickle ball and basketball. (Pools closed Oct-April). Separate lakehouse over looking the lake has Ping Pong and a BBQ. Walking and hiking trails are right at the entrance to the cabin community (a mostly flat wetland loop (1km) or a full Summit hike up Bald Mountain, depending on your mood! Boat slip included with rental for year round fishing, stargazing on the boat or water sports. A private backyard hot tub is available while weather permits. The cabin is gorgeous, clean and well laid out and would make for a perfect extended winter holiday in the mild Vancouver Island climate. (Discount for full winter rental)
