Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hôtel Les Vieilles Tours, on the outskirts of Rocamadour. The owners were warm, genuine, and clearly proud of their beautifully restored farmstead, which offers sweeping views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. The location is very convenient to the sanctuary complex and the medieval village. Our room was spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated—perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was the best we had in France, featuring delicious breads, pastries, cheeses, cold meats, and cereals.
