This special and scenic historic but modern cottage called Avalon is on a rock cliff overlooking Stony Lake and right next door to the Burleigh Falls Inn. It is a 3 season cottage with 3 spacious bedrooms, a dock, a closed in sunporch and great seating outside. It is a century old but modern and very well maintained, in excellent condition. New comfortable beds. Gas stone fireplace in living room warms up the cottage as needed. Beautifully furnished and decorated featuring work of local artists. Walk down just 6 steps to deep water swimming at the dock where you can keep a boat during your stay close to the Burleigh Falls Lock on the Trent Severn Waterway. This cottage has one of the nicest views on all of Stony Lake and large sitting areas inside and outside where you can enjoy the view. Swim off the dock. We have free EV charging for guests with electric cars. Modern appliances, laundry and WiFi. We are just steps away from the Burleigh Falls Inn where you can go out to dinner or take out a meal to enjoy in privacy. Bring your own boat or just watch the big yachts go by from the nearby Burleigh Falls locks. Great fishing.
We do not encourage large groups and our limit is 6 people for overnight stays. There is a boat house on the property but it is not in use.
