Perched above East Vancouver’s bike path, this sunny and historic home offers as a unique, preserved heritage charm. Within blocks of Vancouver’s finest restaurants, stadiums, cultural attractions and urban center, Strathcona offers a beautiful neighbourhood oasis. Enjoy a comfortable 2-story layout with 3 bedrooms, a Parisian style bathroom with a clawfoot tub, a spacious loft style living room, as well as a functional kitchenette. A wonderful home base for your Vancouver visit.
Many of Vancouver's best restaurants and bars are within a 10 minute walk from the house. The historic Chinatown is just a few blocks away. Situated on the bike path provides direct quick access to downtown, Stanley Park, Commercial Drive, and all of urban Vancouver's amenities.
This is a unique suite on the top two floors of the tallest original house in Strathcona. It has the quirks and charms of a heritage home, and has being lovingly restored and maintained by our family for more than a decade. With 3 stories of stairs to access and windows/ balconies at a high height, this may not be suitable for small children or people with mobility limitations.
If you are hoping to bring a pet, please let us know in advance. We have 3 dogs that live in the other units of the house and would like to coordinate with you and your pet so all animals are comfortable.
This is a multi-unit residential home. We live in the lower unit and one unit contains tenants. Sound travels easily through the house as it is 120 years old, please be respectful of noise during quiet hours. The neighbourhood can be lively in the evening during the summer, so please be aware that some noise from the street in unavoidable. Earplugs are provided if needed :)
