Welcome to Kairphree; Four Seasons Waterfront Cottage. This is a family owned and maintained getaway in Harcourt. (Haliburton 35 min drive and Bancroft 28 min drive).
Enjoy year round activities including but not limited to: fishing, ice fishing, boating, horseback riding through the trails, ATV / Snowmobile trails, golf, hiking, and beautiful scenery.

The space
The main level of the cottage has 2 bedrooms (queen beds), 4 piece bath, and a large family room overlooking the lake (with a queen pull out couch). Head downstairs into a fully finished basement with a large wood stove, stone wet bar, and a 3 piece bath. The basement has another queen pull out couch.
Enjoy air-conditioning, heat, WiFi high speed internet, washer and dryer, BBQ, and level ground for lawn games and fun! Water is a sand-point well on UV System; safe for drinking (samples taken yearly).
The cottage is on a waterfront property with a portion of beach front. It is located on an inlet of Benoir Lake, therefore offers a quiet escape from busy boat traffic. It is a short 2 minute boat ride to get to the larger Benoir Lake opening.
Benoir Lake is part of a 3 lake chain (connected to Elephant and Baptiste Lake) which gives a combined 34 miles of boating. Located right on the southern edge of Algonquin Park.
The cottage has a dock which can hold a boat and has a canoe, 2 Kayaks and 1 Paddle board on the property. The cottage also has several board games, books and kids toys for all the family fun you need!
Guest access
You will have access to the full cottage and property. Check in and out is stress free and made easy for you! Instructions will be available upon booking.
Other things to note
Kairphree cottage is basically across the road from Algonquin park. Kairphree is located approximately 7km (10min) from the Kingscote Access Point to Algonquin Provincial Park, 500m from the High Falls Trail entrance (which we highly recommend) The Cottage is also 69km (50min) from the East Gate.
*FOR THE SEASON WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING ANY BEDDING, BLANKETS, OR PILLOWS. ALL BEDS WILL ONLY HAVE A MATTRESS COVER ON THEM WHEN YOU ARRIVE. **YOU MUST BRING SOMETHING TO SLEEP ON TOP OF THE MATTRESS COVER** PLEASE ALSO BRING YOUR OWN BATH TOWELS, HAND TOWELS, AND DISH TOWELS.

Some other amenities WILL be supplied, e.g. dish soap, sponge / scrub brush for dishes, hand soap, cleaning supplies, standard kitchen items (pots, pans, toaster, dishes, cutlery, coffee maker, slow cooker, Microwave etc.)
There is a BBQ with a spare tank, a table and chairs, as well as fire pit by the lake for campfires. Please bring your own local firewood! (however we do have some that we can provide for an extra service)
