Stay in our recently updated ground level suite just minutes from Kalamalka Lake. Huge south-facing windows in the open concept kitchen/living room allow plenty of Okanagan sunshine in! The Master bedroom has a queen size bed, and the second room (den) has a queen size bed as well (the room is quite small, but space to sleep two people and thier luggage). There is also a futon in the back Hallway/laundry area that folds out into a double bed. A private entrance at the front of the house opens to a large front lawn. Our house is located in a family-friendly neighborhood with a playground just around the corner. 33 minutes to Silver Star mountain. Minutes to Kalamalka Lake provincial park with hiking and biking trails, beaches and stunning views! Also included: parking (enough for truck and boat in driveway plus street), full kitchen, bedding, tv, internet, dvd player, (no cable but an Amazon fire stick with Netflix, Crave (basic) and Prime Video). The bathroom boasts a walk-in rain head shower. Relax on the private patio just outside your front door and kitchen, while grilling your favorite meal on your own private BBQ.
There is no A/C but suite remains remarkably cool in the summer. There is a ceiling fan in main living area and a pedestal fan.
Our house is on a septic system. Nothing other than toilet paper may be flushed, including "flushable" hygiene products.
A dog and a cat live upstairs, but have no access to the suite, even when it is vacant.
We have several activities available, such as a badminton set, basketball hoop and miscellaneous. games.
