Bienvenidos! La Casa is a unique home walking distance to Sechelt that has a style all its own.
Our Mexican casita is located in a very private garden oasis only mere steps to the beach and the town of Sechelt.
In the winter cozy up by the wood stove or take a dip in the hot tub. In the summer enjoy the palapa bar, play some darts or cornhole, or gather around the outdoor gas firepit.
We have a fully fenced yard and welcome both kids and pets.
We have poured our heart and souls into this cottage to give it the Mexican vibe you usually only experience when in Mexico. We hope you enjoy our hot sauce wall, sombrero collection, Mexican art, and all of the little touches we have sourced over the years!
Parking is in the lane and once you walk through the back gate you will find a fully fenced private garden oasis. Outside you will find a hot tub, palapa bar, fire pit, big sunny deck, and lots of room to play. Inside the front door is an open concept kitchen, dining room, and living room with dishwasher, washer/dryer, wood stove and plenty of seating. There is also a full 4 piece bathroom.
For sleeping, there are 2 bedrooms both with new Endy mattresses and top of the line linens. Each bedroom boasts a live edge desk, closet, and tv. The third sleeping area is a loft accessed by a ladder. Best for kids or smaller adults. If you're looking for an alternative to the loft the couch in the living room pulls out to a queen sized bed.
We provide use of a paddle board and kayak (beach access is across the laneway), wood for the wood burning stove inside, propane for the bbq and the hot tub is on and hot year round.
You will have the entire property to yourself.
We do not live on the property but are 20minutes away if you need anything!
Our cozy cottage is less than 100 metres to a public access beach, steps to the Lighthouse Pub and a few blocks from everything downtown Sechelt has to offer.
We have 3 parking spots but if you're biking or busing to La Casa, everything you need is walking distance away.
