This cozy and beautiful house is located on lakefront of Petenwell lake in Necedah, WI. It has a huge pier right in front of the property and sandy shores. If you are willing to take a walk, there’s a path that wraps around pretty much the whole lake, it is a public path so feel free to take a stroll, jog or ride a bike and enjoy a beautiful nature. Property itself is located on 2.39 acres so there’s plenty of room for kids to enjoy an open space within the property itself. There’s a boat landing north of the property, with a wide overview of the lake, which can be reached through a public path. Fishing is also extremely fun. Lake Petenwell is replenished every year with fish, which includes smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, walleye, northern pike, white bass, catfish, yellow perch.
There’s a lot of paths/trails to enjoy with bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, or snowmobiles in the winter.

Summer fun:
Wisconsin Dells is 45 miles away. Loaded with a lot of water parks, attractions, bars, restaurants, and places to see.
Pontoon rental is available for additional charge . Boating season is open from April 1st to October 17th.

Summary: We had a fun family weekend at this cabin in the woods! The long dining table and open concept kitchen + dining + living room are really great for spending time together. The fridge is gigantic. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of big pots and pans, cooking utensils, and grilling tools -- great for cooking big meals for the whole group. Beds were comfortable, house was clean. Having 3 full bathrooms was also very nice for a big group. Overall a great stay! A few small things: * The provided shampoo & body wash are in very small containers (like a hotel). Recommend bringing your own larger bottles of soap if you're staying more than a couple nights. * The thermostat is a Nest Learning Thermostat, which sometimes automatically changes the temperature completely on its own. We had multiple nights where we tried to turn the thermostat down at night, but within minutes, the thermostat automatically changed itself back up to where it was before. * There is a mowed path behind the house which leads to a dock, and also around the lake itself. There are *TONS* of bugs on that path. Even with deep woods bugspray (40% deet), we were all being bitten up by flies. However, the lawn appears to be treated, and there are much fewer bugs around the lawn. There is also a screened deck, so you can sit outside there and not even worry about bugs at all.
