This recently renovated four season cottage is located in the Haliburton Highlands region - approximately 2.5 hours from Toronto. The cottage is beautifully finished and furnished with open concept main living areas. The living area has an electric fireplace, flat screen TV, satellite dish, reclining sofa and loveseat and a couple of chairs for large crowds. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, toaster, coffee maker, blender, water dispenser, dishes, etc.
There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms in this cottage. The main floor has the master bedroom with king size bed and the second main floor bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a four piece (tub/shower/toilet/sink) bathroom on this level.
On the lower level there are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other bedroom has 2 queen size beds. There is a two piece bathroom (toilet/sink) on this level. Also, on this level there is a sitting room.
Location
For those of you who are into smaller lakes, Cardiff Lake is an intimate lake in the Haliburton Highlands - the lake is spring-fed and landlocked. This cottage is conveniently situated on a country road off Hwy 648 just outside of Wilberforce where there is a good size food store (Foodland), restaurant, service station, banking, LCBO and convenience store for all your cottaging needs.
Bancroft is approximately 20 kilometres away and Haliburton is approximately 30 kilometres away from our cottage.
There is a large deck with a propane barbecue and patio furniture.
The shoreline is a gradual entry into the water which has a sandy bottom and there is deep water swimming off the dock which was installed in 2013. Extra large dock which is big enough for seating and there is a floating raft, kids kayaks, adult kayaks and a floating mat for all to enjoy.
If you like to fish, our lake is stocked with bass & rainbow trout and there are many lakes in the area with good fishing.
For your outdoor fun, we include 3 adult kayaks, a fishing boat (no motor), a paddle board, a floating dock, a water mat, 3 children’s kayaks and a playhouse.
Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, pets permitted.
No smoking inside the cottage and no smoking in the hot tub.
Primary renter must be 30 or older.
