Lighthouse Chalets, nestled among the trees of the boreal forest, is on the banks of the famous Main Southwest Miramichi River, near Blackville, New Brunswick. Great summer retreat. Wonderful winter getaway. This cottage and adjacent cabin are fully winterized. Fishing, canoeing, snowmobiling and lots more available to make your stay a memorable experience.
The cottage is the main focus, two bedrooms upstairs, with a large entertaining area downstairs, is attached to an authentic lighthouse that forms the access to the second floor. It features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and large entertaining area under a cathedral ceiling, commanding a scenic river view. Outside a very large porch overlooks the Miramichi River.
The adjacent cabin is great for overflow guests. It can sleep three persons and is mostly self-sufficient. It too has its own porch and indoor relaxing experience. For those smaller groups of up to 6 guests, the main cottage is all that is required.
This region was made famous for its salmon fishing and its beauty and has traditionally been a great escape for those seeking to be one with nature. The Miramichi River is popular for many activities such as canoeing, kayaking, tubing and fishing.
