Summary: When we arrived at 4 PM, the house was very cold. We called the house manager, and he said it would warm up in a couple of hours, yet it was cold throughout the night. The heat should have been turned on much earlier because we were allowed to come in at 1 o'clock. Fire alarms were beeping, a sign the batteries were going bad . Aga, obviously jack of all trades, fixed the alarms plus the front door cypher lock (needed new batteries) There was no hot water throughout the night, and the manager kept giving us suggestions to get hot water, but nothing worked. We had to take cold showers that morning, and I was boiling water to wash dishes. A plumber came and determined there was a valve problem on the hot water heater. All problems were solved in a matter of hours, and we were very impressed with everyone's effort to fix things.. The door again lost battery connectivity and Aga came to our rescue again.The house is beautiful with lots of room. Incredible kitchen appliances with two ovens, 4 burners and a nice size microwave. Lots of dishes, glasses, cooking utensils etc. The fireplace was great with a terrific draw. The hot tub and fire pit had been winterized the week before our arrival, much to our disappointment. We all enjoyed the lake. the kids fed the ducks, geese and seagulls bread, and they came from everywhere. We all played games we had brought and the family competed in Pingpong in the basement. The house was in a good location for doing other activities. We would highly recommend this house to others, but suggest when renting, the hot tub and fire pit be in working order to get the full experience. Stronger mention of the steep driveway should be made, and having the trash bins dealt with or leave them at the lower level, and someone from the rental company move them up on Mondays for the garbage collection. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and highly recommend it.
