Summary: We had a wonderful time at Maison du Phare. We were a group of 9 friends and family, with children, teens and adults staying for 2.5 weeks. The bedroom, kitchen, dining room, living room all worked well for a group of that size. The common areas had a lot of natural light which we loved. The kitchen was well-equipped (cups, plates, tableware, pots and pans) and we were provided with ample towels and linens, We loved the location of the house. Port-en-Bessin is the perfect location for DDay beaches visits. The house is just a short downhill walk (5 minutes) from the port in town which is lined with shops and restaurants. The walk back up will be difficult for people with mobility issues but otherwise just requires a bit of effort.One note for those staying - Contrary to the listing, there is no air-conditioning in the house. It was not needed while we were there - the temps were actually quite cool and opening the windows let a nice breeze through, but it is something to be aware of if you are concerned about heat.
