Positive: The location was perfect for us — just a one-minute drive from the Ol Pejeta gate, which made getting in and out of the conservancy incredibly easy. Our cottage was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, and the property itself is beautiful and peaceful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Susan has kindly arranged a chef for us for a small additional fee. This turned out to be a fantastic choice! We enjoyed delicious picnic lunches for our days out and wonderful Kenyan food for dinner — everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. Overall, Mavana Cottages was excellent value and a lovely place to stay while visiting Ol Pejeta. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!
