3 Bedroom House in Antigonish County, Doctors Brook
This is the second year renting our home on the ocean. We have renovated the basement bedroom for Summer 2023. That room now has two twin-size beds, it is freshly painted and it has a new egress window. You will find crisp white sheets on all beds.
The kitchen is modern; the upstairs was renovated in 2021.
The property is spectacular. You can watch the sun set over the ocean and walk on the private beach. The house has wooden floors and lots of windows so that you feel like you are indeed amongst nature. It is nice and bright inside the house. The house has ocean frontage, trees for protection from the wind and elements, and a beautiful field with apple trees.
There is a wood stove and a fireplace. There is also a heat pump to have air conditioning. There are three bedrooms: two bedrooms have queen-sized beds, and one newly renovated bedroom in the basement has two twin-sized beds. The kitchen has everything you need - from baking supplies to a slow cooker. There is also a barbecue. You will have fibre internet (super high speed) and TV. There is also high efficient washer and dryer.
Five minutes away is Steinhart Distillery, where you can taste award-winning gin & vodka. You can explore Arisaig park (5 min drive) or golf (20 min drive) then pick up wood-fired pizza (5 min drive) on the way home. The house has 200 meters of ocean frontage and is on 4 acres.
St FX and the town of Antigonish is only 20 minutes away.
