Located only minutes away from the iconic West Point Lighthouse, red sand beach and Lighthouse Willy's restaurant at the West Point Harbour, ON GLENWOOD POND provides luxury, fully equipped accommodation's for up to seven ( 7 ) PFA'S ( people from away ) guests. Our 2 story, 3 bedroom home has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 bedroom with queen size bed and 1 single bed for the kid's! Each bedroom is also equipped with a 3 piece en-suite! A fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities are also provided for your convenience.
Located at the intersection of highway 14 and 139, the Coastal Scenic highway ( Rte 14 ) will take you to North Cape and the famous Wind Observatory.
A short 15 minute drive into the town of O'Leary, the vacationer will find the local grocery, liquor and gas bar. For those that want to take a vacation from cooking there are four local eateries as well. Maple House Bakery, Vinny's Take-out, Canadian Potatoe Museum and the Backwoods Breakaway Burgers.
Those that wish to stay put, the Brook Trout fishing in Glenwood Pond is said to be some of the best on the island ( don't forget your fishing license )!
