Pricing is based on 6 people however if people don't mind sharing beds (and paying the extra $25 per day/per person) 10 people can sleep comfortably!
Our cottage rests on just under an acre of land, which features lush clover lawns surrounded by trees. It’s a peaceful natural landscape where regular visitors include many species of birds, bunnies and bees. We even have a woodpecker hotel!
If you love the ocean, we are minutes by foot to three local beaches. At night, the rhythmic sound of the waves will lull you to sleep. During the day, explore our local landmarks on foot or by bicycle. The beautiful St. Margaret's Bay Area Rails to Trail runs along the back edge of the property.
Clover Cottage Retreat is a unique three-level house featuring the Gathering Space and Loft and the Garden Suite (the Garden Suite is sometimes owner occupied).
The Gathering Space
The main level features a bright open concept kitchen, dining, and living room – the perfect entertaining space. Also, there is a master bedroom with one king bed, and a second bedroom with two double beds, large bath, laundry room, side deck and rustic covered front porch.
The Loft
By day, The Loft upstairs is a bright wide open space that is perfect for yoga classes, workshops, and small weddings. At night, there is a comfy queen Murphy bed that unfolds and a second small bedroom with a double bed. This level also features a beautiful spa bath with a shower for two, slipper tub, bidet, dressing table and even a massage table.
Outdoor Features
The outdoor living and entertaining space includes a large covered front porch, a sunny side deck and a flagstone patio area. In the backyard, there is a nature walk around a meandering creek, a large stone fire pit, a meditation tepee, several private sitting areas. There is also a large gradual sloping "clover carpet" lawn with perfect spots for outdoor weddings or yoga classes.
