Peaceful Pines is located on Geikie Lake, Ontario. We built this cottage over 37 yrs ago with my husband Ken's parents. Raising our three sons and having our pets at a cottage with so many outdoor opportunities was amazing. The cottage is set amongst mature white pines and cedars with a lakefront view. Being the ONLY cottage on the lake we are offering you the solitude of nature as your only neighbours. A quiet peaceful holiday with your family, friends and pets. The land is flat and grassy, both front and back yards. Perfect for outdoor games. The beach is shallow and clear. Great for exploring the shores and Creek that runs alongside the cottage. We have walking trails that we upkeep and flag for your safety. Seeing these giant white Pines and cedars is a real treat. The roads offer a great ATV experience or just a scenic tour of our beautiful area. Its fun to see a Moose alongside the road or catch a glimpse of Mama Bear hurrying her cubs to safety. There are a few fishing lakes along the way as well. We provide maps of the area. If you book in blueberry season we can share our favorite picking spts with you :) We are confident you will enjoy this remote vacation spot.
