Summary: decent price for a nice room. You are right on the Trans Canada hwy so don't be surprised by trucks running all night. Actually found it relaxing in a way. Deep River is a picturesque town on the Ottawa river and hub of the story of nuclear power in Canada. The outdoor and recreational opportunities are many are varied. Sam's food truck, located at the motel, has some great eats at a reasonable price. My wife really enjoyed the fish and chips calling the batter light and tasy. The gravy on the poutine with real curd was very tasty and protions were nice size. Also checked out Godfather's Pizza and definitely very good pizza!
