Resort in Belluno, Gioz
The Gioz house was built by my father in the village where my mother's family comes from. I love this house, the light there and the wild valley in which it is located.
When my brother and I inherited it, I decided to return to live in it and share it, trying to maintain the spirit of openness that my parents gave it. The house is really very open also structurally so I tried to create niches of intimacy for the guests.
But I discovered that people come here from all over the world who are very similar to this house: for their openness, curiosity, love for roots, the wild, the starry skies.
It is surrounded by greenery, on the threshold of the Belluno Dolomites Park and at the exit of Alta Via number 1. There are countless hiking and cycling choices for every taste and level just outside the home. It is located in the splendid Valbelluna, which has always been a holiday area for the Venetian nobility, exuberant with breathtaking views. And it is also 5 minutes from the capital Belluno with cinemas, theatres, restaurants and elegant cafes.
Strategic for exploring the entire Dolomite range but also for all the Venetian cities of art, with Venice in the lead.
