This story and half is modern reproduction of the ever popular family bungalow built appx. 15 yrs ago it is clean and fresh. Wild flowers and wild life can be viewed while enjoying your visit as eagles perch on the high rising tree line of BayCroft property while fishing in the lake below.
ABOUT US: Hi .Our property is situated in the village of Baddeck along the Baddeck Bay. We are a 2.3 mile walk/drive/bike/swim to the center of the village. Which allows one to partake of the village`s many amenities yet escape from it`s summer bustle. Our property offers a central location for all adventures Cape Breton Island has to offer within easy access by foot or car. We are located on the World Famous Cabot Trail. The cottage has a simple bright and airy feel at a easy budget. The full kitchen allows even the most budget minded to save hundreds in restaurant costs yet in a quaint ,quiet setting. Our property is a historic one, overlooking the estate of Alexander Graham Bell and the bay his historic flight took place on. Our property was owned by his assistant, companion (McCurdy) and one of the founders of the National Geographic Society (George Kennan). Other deeded owners were Samual Cunard of the steamship fame.The Myers of the Bell family ,they liked it here I expect you will too
