In the summer and fall, you can explore the Beartooth Mountains, home to Montana's highest peaks, over 300 lakes, and sub-alpine tundra plateaus. In the winter, skiing at Red Lodge Mountain is just a 15-minute drive, or cozy up in the house next to the fire. It is a short 5-10 minute walk to the charming downtown, where you can enjoy the restaurant and retail culture of Red Lodge's historic main street.
This cozy house exudes character and warmth with plastered walls, hardwood floors, stylish furnishings, and artwork inspired by mountaineering culture. There are two bedrooms each with a queen bed, quality linens, and a dresser and closet in each room.
The kitchen is well-outfitted, and the pantry is stocked with the basics. The house has WiFi, a Bluetooth-compatible radio with a docking station, and a great CD collection of classical, jazz, classic, and indie-rock.
There is parking in front of the house and off-street parking with a private drive in the back alley (driveway is 21' deep X 11' wide). The yard is private, with fully fenced front and back yards. Summary: 10/10!!! This is a very comfortable home with all amenities for a short or long stay. Very comfortable beds, great shower, stocked kitchen, beautiful backyard/patio. We could not ask for more!
