I call my home Lake House. It comes fully equipped with all the comforts of home. Covered deck next to the furnished patio/garden with a gas BBQ. From there you walk into your spacious open concept fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances - fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave & many small appliances. In the family room a stone fireplace with a gas insert and a flat screen smart TV, all overlooking the unobstructed panoramic breathtaking view of Lake Okanagan and the surrounding mountains.
The spacious master bedroom has a queen size bed and a large walk in closet. The second bedroom, has a queen bed with a full size closet. The bathroom has a shower, water closet and 2 sinks. The laundry room has stacking full size washer and dryer. There is an office with a desk and chair and comes with lots of storage and wifi.
At Lake House you are a short 10 walk (950m) to the lake, were you will find boutiques, shops, cafe/bakery and rentals with paddle boards, kayaks canoes and bikes and on the water you will find Wibit, it's an on the water Play Park for ages 5 and up & they supply life jackets. It's a15 min walk (1.2km) from Lake House to Peachland Mall for groceries, restaurants, gas, banking, pharmacy, post office, liquor store and more. Also across from the Mall you will find tennis and pickle ball courts and a skate park.
Once at the beach you can meander along the pathway next to the lake which takes you to the Village of Peachland. Along the way you will pass Swim Bay the only life guard patrolled beach/swimming area in the Okanagan, it has a rope swim, diving board and zip line over the water. You will also pass the Art Gallery, indoor artisan store and Bat Ecology Centre. A short walk from there you will be in the village where you will find more restaurants, pubs, shops, pharmacy, hardware store, salons, museum, Tourist Information and more. At Heritage Park is were you will find a play ground, water splash pad for the kids and the Sunday Farmers Market. Dock Side Marina in the village has affordable boat and jet ski rentals for you to enjoy and have fun on the water.
Hiking trails are just minutes from Lake house and we are centrally located, only 30 minutes drive to the City of Kelowna and Penticton and a 10 minute drive to
Westbank/West Kelowna which has the convenience of large retail outlets, restaurants, movie theatre, bowling, golfing, spa's and much more.
Year round, you can enjoy the many special events, festivals, and activities that happen in Peachland and throughout the Okanagan Valley. Everything you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life is right here at Lake House in the heart of Peachland.
