The guest side of our large historic house has two double rooms and one 2-bedroom suite. Each spacious room has its own private ensuite bathroom. In total, we can accommodate eight people. Ideal for couples, families or small groups. All rooms were recently renovated and furnished in contemporary style.
Room 1: This bright spacious room has a queen bed and private ensuite bathroom with a shower. Both the bedroom and bathroom get beautiful afternoon sun.
Room 2: This bright spacious room on the 2nd-floor has a queen bed and private ensuite bathroom with a shower. The bathroom gets gloriously sun-drenched in the afternoon.
Room 3: This well-appointed 2-bedroom suite on the 2nd-floor has a queen-size bed in one room and two twin beds in the other bedroom. It features a full private ensuite bathroom with tub/shower combination. The suite has lots of natural light and high ceilings and gets drenched with morning sun.
Enjoy large windows in all bedrooms that can be opened for a nice cross-breeze, overlooking the beautiful pasture and peek-a-boo views of the river.
All bedrooms have high-quality linens and mattresses that our guests rave about. Contemporary furnishings and stylish décor will make you feel at home, with WiFi, Netflix, Prime, hairdryer, iron and more.
While there is not a full kitchen for guest use, you are welcome to use the guest lounge 24/7. The lounge has a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, water dispenser, large table, chairs etc. You are welcome to bring your own food and The Nosy Crow Bites & Brews and the Biscuit Eater Cafe deliver to River Ridge Lodge. If you like, we can also make our BBQ available – just let us know. And of course, if you use any of our dishes, we will do all the cleaning up. After all, you’re on vacation!
If you need anything, we’re close by and ready to help! We live in the house, but you’ll enjoy privacy with your own guest entrance and covered porch, on the opposite side of the house.
You can simply relax and enjoy soothing views of the pasture from every room at our airy retreat, or fill your day with indoor and outdoor activities, between the indoor lounge, covered porch, picnic tables and dock on the river 200 feet away, about 1km upriver from Mahone Bay.
Our welcome package includes chocolate, water, coffee and tea in your room and in the guest lounge. We also offer complimentary bikes and have easy access to the Rum Runners Trail, perfect for the outdoorsy and adventurous. We also provide beach towels.
