Enjoy this beautiful lakeside paradise which is right on the shoreline of this pristine mountain lake set in the green mountains of Vermont in south-eastern Quebec with USA on the other side of the lake. You have full access to a spacious lawned point with firepit and a sandy beach with allows for excellent swimming for the whole family. There is a spacious front deck with overlooks the lake where you can hold family meals and watch the sun set. Move inside later for a comfy setting where you can light a blazing fire in the grandiose fieldstone fireplace and gather around for some family time, read a book, watch TV (Cable, Prime, Paramount) or just plain relax.
The spacious "open-concept" main living room offers the ideal setting for large group meetings or quiet corners to retreat to. The main floor has huge massive hand-hewn barn beams which harken back to the 1800s. The whole cottage was built from the barnwood & beams dismantled from 3 19th century eastern-township barns in the late 1960s and all the stones in the fireplace come from local farmfields.
There are (2) kayaks and paddleboards available to you navigate the beautiful lake which surrounds you. Enjoy the calling of the loons, ducks and the daily "Eagle-siting" as they soar above the lake looking for fish. There is a large flat lawn for family games, soccer balls, lawn-bowling, bacci, etc.
