Your stay will be a true West Coast experience with spectacular ocean and mountain views with little to no outdoor light pollution other than the natural skyline and layers or horizon. Located directly across from beautiful Savary Island and looking directly at the sandy beaches from the private 220 square foot studio. The park area on the property includes; Gazebo, propane fire pit, chairs, picnic table and propane grilling station. Please note there are 26 stairs from your parking spot in the carport to the Studio, and an additional 41 stairs to the park area.
There are 98 stairs from the park area to the beach with 9 landings for breathtaking photos or rests if needed. If your timing is fortunate, you may see Orca or Humpback whales, Dolphins, Porpoises, Seals, Sea Lions, Otters or Black Bears. We have several Eagles nests very nearby and frequently they pass the property. There are 3 types of hummingbirds that feed from the many feeders on the property. If you are looking to get away from it all and simply take in nature and relax, look no further.
Included to assist in your relaxation experience is a 6 person hot tub with a view to die for overlooking the ocean which is exclusive to you, not shared. There is another deck - sitting area with propane fire pit and chairs to be enjoyed while taking in the beauty that surrounds you. Peace, tranquility, pristine air, breathtaking and jaw dropping experiences all around.
Several Sunshine Coast hiking trails are accessible right from the property, as well as Savary Island water taxi, Terracentric Coastal Adventure tours, restaurants, Historic Lund hotel including restaurant 101 Bar and Grill, Tug Gumh Gallery, famous Nancy's Bake Shop, Lund Harbour, boat charters, fuel dock, retail and liquor store all within approximately a 5 minute walk from our secluded little retreat. We truly have the most spectacular sunsets anywhere. We are the gateway to Desolation Sound Marine Park and the Copeland Islands. During Summer months you may see the Alaska cruise ships passing between Savary Island and Hernando Island.
Coffee, tea, microwave, convection toaster oven and mini fridge included. There is an outdoor propane fire pit in the Gazebo for your use, and a Master Chef BBQ grilling station for your outdoor cooking adventures! E-bikes and kayaks are available to rent in Lund.
Should you be looking to experience outdoor serenity, forest bathing, adventures or relaxing and making memories off grid, look no further. We are strictly a non-partying setting. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am. We live in a small Community and respect all neighbours. Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the Studio and we prefer not on the property. Please walk out to the paved road area or down to the beach if you wish to smoke or vape. Violations are subject to a $250 fee due to cleaning for next guests. Please be respecful.
