Our home is located with direct access to the beautiful fresh clean water of Hague Lake. Hague Lake is one of Cortes Islands fresh water non-motorized lakes. Enjoy swimming, paddle boarding, take the canoe out for a paddle. Cortes Natural Food Co-op Store is a block walking distance, where you can get fresh local produce, groceries or daily baked goodies. Located across the street from the Co-op is the Manson Landing Farmers Market held every Friday from 12-3 featuring local artisans, farmers, and bakers. Wander through a coastal trail for 15 min to beautiful Mansons Landing Lagoon for a warm ocean swim. Our home is an excellent spot to enjoy all the wonderful trails and beaches that Cortes has to offer.
There are stunning views of the lake from the whole main floor or on the large deck, where you can watch eagles soar by or relax while your family enjoys the small sandy beach just outside of the backdoor. The main floor consists of a mudroom with laundry, 4 piece bathroom, kitchen, spacious dining and living room with large leather sectional. The home is filled with light and windows which instantly makes you feel at home and one with nature. The main floor has brand new flooring and the walls have been freshly whitewashed (pictures to be updated).
The kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes, utensils, microwave, stove, fridge, dishwasher and coffee maker.
Up the unique spiral stairs are the 5 bedrooms. Two bedrooms have spectacular views of the lake which you can watch the sunrise or reflection of the moon! All the beds are comfortable and provide a restful vacation. Between all the bedrooms there is an additional 4 piece bathroom.
