Summary: We stayed 1 night in the penthouse suite. Generally an overall good experience, however there were some points that didn't work for us given the $420 price tag on this stay. The bed was far too small for 2 people and the pillows were of poor quality. The IP phone in the room did not to dial internally (extensions) and would keep restarting. The room also was in obvious need of repair as there were areas that had drywall damage to the walls that had obviously been there for awhile. Another issue that we noticed was the rotten decking on the upper floor. Yes, it is in urgent need of replacing. The resteraunt (chasters) however was VERY good and made up for some of the issues in our room. *Note to owners. if you are going to charge top dollar for rooms/accomodation, you'd better put the maintenance into things otherwise risk people injuring themselves on your property. I also suggest a key box for those people doing an early checkout.
