Welcome to your glamping retreat conveniently located in the village of Chester Basin. We are just a two minute walk to the Rails for Trails, a gov't wharf, a playground and the popular ( for locals and tourists alike) Seaside Shanty Restaurant. Be sure to reserve ahead of time to dine on their outside deck overlooking the basin.
Nearby is Hutt Lake, Freda's beach and the Lido pool for swimming.
This slightly off grid bunkie has gone through many transformations over the years; a playhouse, an art studio and a little art shop to name a few.
Although the location is quite close to the main house there is a tall privacy fence and garden separating them.
This super cosy space has the luxury of electricity and wifi as well as a fridge, microwave and tea kettle.
A couple of steps outside is a spotless outhouse with a proper composting toilet. Although there is no running water, there is an outdoor solar shower ( best used after heating all day and before it starts cooling down in the evening) and a washing up station with water provided. The fenced in outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee and unwind. ( ps. Robins across the street has freshly baked croissants each morning!).
