Summary: The apartment itself was as described: clean, neat & well-maintained. However, only on-street parking is available and the host recommended that we park on the street where the apartment house is located. We parked 3 cars close to the curb, directly across from the property, only to discover the next morning that 2 of our 3 cars had damaged side-view mirrors -- one heavily damaged and the other less so (though will cost an estimated $530 to replace!). Neighbors told us that people driving fast and hitting cars on the street is an ongoing problem, with one incident happening only 4 days before. After we told the host about the damage to our cars, we got no response at all, not even a "sorry that happened." Future guests should ignore the host's advice to park on that street and instead part on the much wider one around the block. We would have -- If only we had been told about this problem in advance. Also, be sure to turn your mirrors in if that's an option.
