The home is part of a family resort, with a private resort beach. With numerous areas to gather and entertain, both inside and out, the home is well suited for groups and small occasions. The home itself has 3 bedrooms plus a beautiful new rustic cabin in the back yard.
The base rate is $650 Canadian per night. Please message in order to get an exact quote based on your group size and your length of stay. Spring and fall rates offer discounts. We can also offer special rates for spring and fall for a one month stay, or a winter snowbird package.
The Beach: just a few steps across the road to the private resort beach. The beach has a large well treed grassy area, as well as an area of sandy beach with palappas to gather under.
The Lake: Osoyoos Lake is known as Canada/s warmest lake and attracts people all spring, summer and fall. Popular for boating, sunbathing, swimming, and fishing. We offer a Buoy for your boat if needed so that you can launch your boat once, and enjoy!
The home: at the beach, offers comfortable accommodations, spacious , rustic décor, numerous entertaining areas, spectacular views, and close to many amenities (town, restuarants). We offer comfortable and plentiful furniture throughout the 2 level home, as well as comfortable beds for a good nights sleep. The home is spacious with a large living room with a 54" flat screen, but you may be more interested in the view from this room! Another living/dining area offers amazing views as you enjoy your meals. Double doors open up from the kitchen/nook area out to the private back patio. The décor is decidedly rustic, with reclaimed wood furniture and large heavy wood furniture from Mexico. The dining table for 8 is live edge wood from Mexico, with an amazing view of the lake. The areas to gather and visit are endless with a large deck and wraparound patios front and back, a front putting green, and a private back patio. The back patio has mountain views and a spacious area to bbq and enjoy an outside meal. Bordering the beautiful patio is the new rustic cabin for sleeping, and a 6 person hot tub. 8 resort quality lounge chairs are available for your use. The fencing/plants and privacy cedars offer you privacy from the rest of the resort in the back patio.
The Resort: the home is located within Island View RV Resort. The beach and resort events are right there for you to enjoy! The Resort also has a small grocery store, ice cream bar, Laundry facilities, and organic coffee bar in the commercial area at the entrance. As well, paddleboard and kayak rentals are offered. It is quite common that events are held, such as BBQ's and dances at the beach or the store patio. We also can coordinate other accommodation needs your group may have as we also offer RV spaces for rent, spacious 2 bdrm RV's for rent on rv pads, and also a lovely 2 bdrm Park Model home. All located in the resort, just a few steps from the home. The resort also has 2 additional buildings for bathrooms/showers if needed by your group.
The Town and area: The home is about a half hour walk from the downtown area and within a few minutes to various restaurants. The town of Osoyoos has a beautiful downtown area with shops and restuarants. Surrounded by wineries and orchards, you can wine taste, purchase fresh fruits and vegies, go the farmers markets, or head out for a round of Golf. Besides our private beach, you can also explore the towns stretches of public beaches. Right next door is a waterslide, and a few blocks away is a family Amusement Park.
