The Space:
Located on coveted Acton Island, just 5 minutes from HWY 169 and connected to the mainland by a land bridge, this gorgeous recently built luxury cottage is just minutes from the shops and restaurants in Port Carling and Bala. With 3600 sq ft of space this cottage, has everything you could need for a Muskoka family vacation. Views of Lake Muskoka from your living room. Woodwinds is the perfect getaway for family and friends ~ a nice mix of cottage country with all amenities of home. Built with an eye to the amenities the discerning traveller has come to expect, this gorgeous 5 bedroom 4 bath cottage will be your home away from home! Spend your day by the water lounging on the dock, roast marshmallows by the fire and catch a glimpse of a shooting star, and then come inside and enjoy a good movie or some family games. Enjoy an evening dip in the lakeside hot tub. We are north east facing but because of the angle of the point of land we get sun exposure from sunrise to sunset!

The Neighborhood:
Conveniently located for day trips to Gravenhurst, Bala, Port Carling or Bracebridge by boat or car for farmers markets, LCBO, grocery store, restaurants, shopping, and golf. Kids will love the free weekly Tuesday evening waterski show and adults can be entertained with concerts at the Kee to Bala. For running or hiking enthusiasts the surrounding cottage roads provide a safe, shady 1-hour loop and it is only a 10 min drive to the beautiful Hardy Lake Provincial Park hiking trails. When you get back, shoot some hoops in the backyard, take a swim in the quiet bay, go for a kayak adventure or enjoy a snooze in the hammock by the lake. Area is also great for paddle boarding (not provided) and fishing.
