Welcome to Spencer House. This open concept bungalow is centrally located in a very desirable, mature area of Picton. It is a perfect home for families or friends to gather. Spencer House sleeps 6 people comfortably and features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Spencer House is a short walk to the Millennium Trail, historic Regent Theatre, restaurants, cafes, galleries and shopping on Main Street. It is less than a 20 minute drive to the many wineries and micro-breweries, the famous Sandbanks Provincial Park, North Beach and the quaint villages of Bloomfield, Wellington, Cherry Valley, Milford and more. A park pass for both Sandbanks and North Beach are included for your stay.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the front deck under the canopy of mature trees. Come cycling, whether you bring your own bike or rent one locally. Spend your summer days at the beach or come any time to explore the wineries, galleries or searching for past treasures at the many antique venues. Discover the history and many markets scattered through the County. After touring the vast countryside, come back to Spencer House to relax, enjoy a BBQ and dine under the stars and patio lighting. This home is open and bright and features large windows throughout the home to allow the cool breezes in.
We endeavor to make your stay at Spencer House the most memorable with comfortable beds, blackout curtains for a good night sleep, high quality linens, and a well appointed kitchen. While early/late check-ins are a little more difficult in high-season, we will always do our best to let you know if we can accommodate you.
We also offer a pack and play, an Ikea high chair and baby gate available for those traveling with little ones. Just let us know and we will have these items available for you at no extra cost.
For your comfort and enjoyment we offer: Air conditioning. an electric fireplace for those cool days, free WiFi, a 55" Smart TV, DVD player, Netflix, DVD movies, board games, puzzles and some books.
2 night minimum, 3 night minimum for long weekends. In July and August, there will be a 4 night minimum.
** As of January 24, 2024, Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) payment for your stay will come as a payment request after you book. Prince Edward County have a mandatory MAT of 4% to be levied on the nightly fee only. Since VRBO do not have an option to charge this at time of booking, we must send it as a second payment request. **
We are very excited to now feature a 14kw/100 amp whole home generator for the convenience of our guests. If the power should go out for whatever reason, the generator will start up and power will be available to you. This was done to ensure our guests are warm and cozy in the cooler months and cool and comfortable in the hotter ones.
We have 3 exterior cameras for security purposes only. There is one capturing the front door and driveway area, one to capture the side door and bedroom windows and the third mounted on the shed to capture basement windows.
