Located 1h30 from Montreal, on the edge of Lac Ouareau in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci (border of St-Donat), in the magnificent region of Lanaudière, this magnificent prestigious chalet can accommodate up to 12 people.
This large bright house is nestled in a deciduous forest, on the shores of Lake Ouareau, accessible directly in front of the chalet.

But if you MUST stop before arriving at the chalet, if you are coming from Montreal, it is preferable to stop shopping in Sainte-Julienne where you will find all the usual shops.
Once at the chalet, if you need to go shopping, the village of St-Donat is the closest with its many restaurants and shops.
The chalet is unfortunately not suitable for people in wheelchairs unless they stay at the ground floor where there are 6 steps steps to get in the house and then they have access to a room and a bathroom, also the kitchen, living room and dining room on open concept.
The main floor, open concept, includes the modern kitchen, a dining room with a view of the lake, a cathedral-roofed living room with a slow-burning fireplace, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a magnificent veranda. 4 seasons.
In summer, a huge fully furnished terrace with garden furniture will offer you a magnificent extension of the chalet with a view of the lake. One of the five bedrooms is on the garden level as well as a family room with a pool table and table football game. The outdoor spa can be used year round.
Two bedrooms are upstairs, including the master bedroom with king bed and view of the lake, a sitting area and a full bathroom.
The 5th bedroom is on the ground floor, adjoining the games room, with a shower room.

It is essential to have a vehicle to move around.
PARKING:
In summer or when there is no snow, do not park in such a way as to block the passage for the neighbour. Marks have been made to guide you.
If the 3 spaces available are not sufficient, you can park on the right side of the street, just before arriving at the chalet.
In winter, you can use the entire parking lot because the path is not cleared of snow.
Summer or winter, St-Donat is a magnificent playground for lovers of recreation and the outdoors! Snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, mountain biking, swimming, golf and even hebertism for your children!
Full of charm and serenity, this Scandinavian-style chalet is rented with all these inclusions: electricity, internet, firewood, spa maintenance and snow removal in addition to all amenities and equipment.
For a tenant to bring his own boat, he must obtain a lake access permit and have his boat washed. If you wish to use your own craft or rent one for the duration of your stay, please note that the dock shown in the Bellator photos can be used to moor the craft. The launching must be done from the landing stages of the municipality only.
CAMERAS: For security purposes, surveillance cameras are installed outside our chalet. We have one camera positioned to monitor the entrance and parking lot, and another facing the lake to capture any potential unwanted visitors approaching from that direction. These measures are primarily in place to deter theft and also to monitor the number of vehicles or individuals to prevent unauthorized gatherings.
Animals: Note that small dogs (maximum 30 lbs) may be accepted in the chalet with certain restrictions and under certain conditions. Fees of $75 for 1 dog and $25 for a 2nd dog apply (2 dogs maximum). Full details in the chalet booking form.
Complete bedding is provided as well as towels for the showers. Bring your towels for the spa and the beach.
The kitchen is very well equipped. You will find, among other things, an espresso coffee machine, a coffee grinder, a food processor as well as 2 fondue sets (1 gas and 1 electric) in addition to all the usual accessories in a kitchen. In general, some basic elements are there such as: sugar, salt, pepper, spices, coffee filter, cellophane paper and aluminum foil, vegetable oil, etc…
There is a 50'' smart HD TV in the living room, a 36'' in the master bedroom and a 3rd 42'' in the children's bedroom, portable bluetooth speaker, unlimited Wi-Fi access, washing machine / dryer, BBQ (propane provided - not available in winter) as well as a dishwasher at your disposal.
The spa can be used year round.
